A Writer's Experience

At the beginning of 1997, my book Shattered Crystals was published by a small Jewish publisher in New Jersey. Since then, a number of people have asked me how long it took to write the book, how I found a publisher and how hard it was to find him. Others asked "when" questions, such as when could they expect to read a review in The New York Times, when would it appear on the best seller list, when could they buy it in Barnes & Noble.

What follows is my attempt to answer these questions. In going public, I also hope that my particular experiences may be edifying to other writers.

  2. From Acceptance to Publication
  3. The Marketing of Shattered Crystals
