Eve Kanner Rosenzweig Kugler, Jan '49

On the day of the OSE girls departure for America,  they gathered on the steps of the OSE home in Haute Vienne, France.  Eve's older sister, Ruth, is on front step (wearing glasses).  Eve's youngest sister, Lea, age 4 1/2, dashed to the front before the photo was snapped, although she did not go with them to New York. Eve is behind Lea.  Their mother, Mia, is in back of Eve, and her father, Sal, wearing a French beret, is in second row, far left.
